My husband and I made - homemade red pepper flakes today.  They are SCREAMING HOT.... but I like 'em! From husband's Facebook post earlier today: My dad had a Hispanic neighbor give him some "really hot" pepper plants. They turned into a bumper crop! Now, he has (no exaggeration...) THOUSANDS of tiny red hot peppers. And, these little fella's are INSANE hot! So, we're drying some out in the oven at a low temperature and we intend to run them through the food processor (outside) and make our own red pepper flakes. If it doesn't work.... we can try something else. Peppers are everywhere in Dad's garden.

Chicken Spaghetti

We haven't made a 'recipe' dinner in a while so this is more to show off our new plates. But this is a great dish... Chicken Spaghetti! A recipe from my dear friend Sue...super easy, super yummy. 2 frozen chicken breasts 1 jar of your favorite sauce enough pasta for the # you're feeding any veggie you want to add (we always add yellow/red pepper & onion) top with cheese boil chicken until done (about 15 minutes) - if you use fresh it won't take as long. while the chicken is boiling chop your veggies and add to a skillet on med. heat w ith a lil olive oil. once the chicken is done - pull it out of the water with tongs and add the spag. noodles to the chicken water. cook until done and drain. let the chicken cool then pull it apart with your fingers. any size you'd like...just shred it and add to the skillet. pour in the sauce, let simmer for about 10 minutes. you can either add the noodles or pour over noodles. top with cheese, salt and pepper! I absolutely LOVE this You Tube workout.... it's a kickboxing, cardio workout that is 35 mins and makes you sweat! It's by Jessica Smith - she works with Shape Magazine and does all kinds of fitness videos, articles, etc. She's very motivating and really gets you going!!  She has TONS of FREE videos and fitness tips too. Check it out, get healthy, keep moving!!
